For pickup problems or issues, please contact Waste Management directly at 262-251-4000 or 888-960-0008 or via email at [email protected]. If needed, the Town's customer ID number is 2-71652-33002.
- Garbage pick up is every FRIDAY. Be sure to have all garbage out by 7:30 am.
- The recyclables will be collected every other week. Here is a calendar of the collection weeks. Our recycling collection is on the green weeks.
If service day falls on or after a holiday, service will be one day later that week with regular service resuming the following week. Holidays include the following:
- New Year's Day: First of January
- Memorial Day: Last Monday in May
- Independence Day: July 4
- Labor Day: First Monday in September
- Thanksgiving Day: Fourth Thursday in November
- Christmas Day: December 25

2025 Hazardous Waste Collection
Please remember that Washington County continues to support a program to safely and cheaply dispose of Household Hazardous Waste and Agricultural Chemicals. Service to county residents is available Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00am - 6:00pm, and Saturdays from 8:00am - 2:00pm (February through December). (Registration will close December 1, 2025) County residents shall transport items to the Veolia Environmental
Services disposal site in Menomonee Falls during these times. The cost is $10/disposal and registration (click here) is
required. (Farmers must call ahead before drop-off).
